The second part of the Here and Now: A Screening of the Sea, will be taking place in Athens. It is important to emphasise that part-two is not an attempt to recreate part-one in dislocation. In fact, it is the opposite. The show in Athens will be a demonstration of the impossibility to ever recreate or even accurately document a site and time specific work like Here and Now: A Screening of the Sea (Part 1). Hence, a fragmented documentation along with live elements in the space will be an attempt to give life to a second consecutive work.
The show will end with a discussion open to the public on the difficulty of accurately documenting site and/ or time specific artworks and the ways of exhibiting such works in galleries or museums.
